You'll find the locality of Du Cane Range high up in the mountains in central Tasmania. Nearby mountains include The Acropolis (1414m), Mount Geryon (1197m), The Parthenon (1191m), Mount Eros (1360m), Mount Hyperion (1384m), Walled Mountain (1392m), Mount Massif (1489m), Mount Gould (1414m), Falling Mountain (1468m), The Guardians (1385m), Macs Mountain (1385m), Horizontal Hill (1238m), Mount Ossa (1573m) and Cathedral Mountain (1374m). Du Cane Range is about 150km northwest of Hobart (show me). At about 1032m above sea level, Du Cane Range is the thirteenth highest locality in Tasmania.

Du Cane Range is located within the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. There are 11 other localities within the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park: Barn Bluff, Cradle Valley, Eldon Bluff, Eldon Range, February Plains, Fossil Hill, Hounslow Heath, Lone Gum Plain, Pencil Pine, Perrins Bluff and Watersmeet.

The nearest more populous place is the village of Tullah which is 42km away with a population of around 250 (show me a map with Du Cane Range and Tullah).
