Compared to the rest of Australia, Daguragu experiences exceptionally high daytime temperatures along with far below average humidity levels. Overnight temperatures and numbers of clear days are above average. Wind speed and numbers of cloudy days are below average. Rainfall is average.

Daguragu has a wet and a dry season. The wet season in Daguragu begins around October and ends around April. Over the course of the wet season, Daguragu receives around 670.4mm of rain. By comparison, in the dry season from May to September, less than 37.3mm of rain falls in total. At the height of the wet season in February it rains on average 14.2 days in that one month. Indeed, Daguragu has experienced as much as 205mm in a single March day and as much as 454.4mm in a single month (March).

Temperatures in the wet season average between 34.2 and 38.7OC during the day and 18.9 and 24.4OC overnight. Temperatures in the dry season average between 28.3 and 35.1OC during the day and 10.7 and 17.9OC at night.
