Midway Point is located in southeast Tasmania and has a population of around 2,200 (49.1% male, 50.9% female). Around 630 families live in the area and of those 41.6% have one or more children under the age of 15. 18.7% of families have only a single parent while 40.0% of couples have no children. Midway Point covers an area of approximately 98 hectares (243 acres).
