Russell Falls is about 60km west-northwest of Hobart (show me). Russell Falls is at an altitude of approximately 295m. We estimate that Russell Falls is between 34m and 58m high. This estimate is based on analysis of the topographic profile around the waterfall and may not be an accurate figure for the total fall of water seen if viewing the falls. The nearest populated place is the village of Maydena which is 11km away with a population of around 250 (show me a map with Russell Falls and Maydena). The nearest sealed road to Russell Falls is the Lyell Highway (15.2km away).
