You'll find the town of Rosebery on the Murchison Highway nestled amongst mountains such as Mount Read (1116m) and Mount Murchison (1239m) in west Tasmania. Rosebery is about 190km northwest of Hobart (show me). With a population of around 1,100, Rosebery is one of the smaller towns in Australia. Rosebery is at an altitude of approximately 152m. Rosebery is one of the westernmost towns in Tasmania.

Rosebery is on the Stitt River.

The nearest more populous place is the town of Queenstown which is 33km away with a population of around 2,400 (show me a map with Rosebery and Queenstown).

Rosebery is in the thirteenth most popular region in Tasmania with overseas tourists.

Bonzle users have said that the facilities at Rosebery include an airstrip / landing strip, fire station, high school, hospital, library, medical centre, police station, primary school, sportsground and swimming pool.
