Weetawaa homestead showing the lagoon that was created when the weir was constructed to help regulate irrigation flow on the property when Australian American Development Company developed the property for Cotton during the pioneering days of Cotton production in the Namoi Valley.

Alternate view of Weetawaa homestead showing grader that was used to improve the dirt roads on the property and create to airstrips, one near the homestead next to the Burren Junction Road for the Piper Twin Commanche used to commute to Sydney, the other was just past the bridge built across Goonoognoo creek to the back part of the property. That airstrip was for the Piper Pawnee that was used for crop spraying in the area.

The original buildings from the old homestead from left to right are the homestead itself said to have been designed by Walter Burley Griffin, the American architect who designed Canberra, the old brick garage, the old Wool Shed, and larger building on the left was where equipment shed where we did welding, sheet metal cutting with oxy-acetalyne torches, and tractor repairs.
