The Macumba River flows through Ross Waterhole (109m), Andandana Waterhole (107m), Mongulina Waterhole (86m), Walkinna Waterhole (86m), Weebucca Waterhole (81m), Tidnabucca Waterhole (58m), Allillinna Waterhole (50m), Ulowarrina Waterhole (38m), Ullabaracoola Waterhole (22m), Christmas Waterhole (13m) and Kurlachidna Waterhole (3m) on its way to joining the Warburton River.
