The 'plieus' (latin for 'cap') is the small horizontal cloud above the typical big white fluffy cumulonimbus in the centre of the photo.

Seemed quite unusual so I had to stop to take a picture. Shot from side of the Barton Highway near Hall

Barton Highway closed because Gungahlin Drive Extension bridge collapsed when workers started to pour the concrete. One of the workers was trapped for 15 minutes when the bridge collapsed and nine workers were taken to hospital with injuries.

Amazing that no one was killed when the you see the extent of the bridge collapse. The Barton Highway may be closed for up to 2 weeks because of this.
