Wallaroo is located just off the Capricorn Highway in southeast Queensland a distance of about 540km northwest from Brisbane (show me). Wallaroo is about 145m above sea level. The nearest sea is the Coral Sea which is part of the South Pacific Ocean about 130km east of Wallaroo.

Wallaroo is on the Wallaroo Creek.
