Booroomba Rocks is a favourite climbing spot for climbers in and around the ACT. The north face offers a range of climbs in a number of grades.

Red necked wallaby (Macropus rufogriseus) are common to the Booromba Rocks area, and like many wallabies are quite friendly and will not hop away until you are within a few metres of them.
