The former steam powered worker's train from Burnie to Devonport just west of Penguin about 1962. This train travelled from Devonport to Burnie on weekday mornings and returned in the afternoons.

A Q class steam locomotive crossing the Penguin Creek Railway Bridge with a goods train of covered four wheel wagons about 1960. All except one of tis class of locomotive have been scrapped. The one remaining is preserved at the Transport Museum at Glenorchy near Hobart.
