The Avon River in southwest Western Australia starts at an elevation of 269m and ends at an elevation of 28.7m merging with the Swan River.
The Avon River drops around 240m over its 267km length.
The Avon River flows through Robins Pool (189m), Jimperding Pool (117m), Long Pool (114m) and Cobbler Pool (113m) on its way to joining the Swan River.
