The Wilsons River in northeast New South Wales starts below Jerusalem Mountain at an elevation of 362m and ends near South Lismore at an elevation of 3.59m merging with the Richmond River.

The Wilsons River drops around 359m over its 131km length.

The following creeks and rivers flow into the Wilsons River: Coopers Creek, Byron Creek, Lagoon Creek, Opossum Creek and Stony Creek.
